Common complaint. No money to start my business. No time to workout. A lack of resource to start, is the complaint.
Il quote a text i read. “It’s like being a basketball player who has one shot to win the game, but they’re at half-court with only a second left on the clock. There’s no other option but to go for it and take the spectacular shot.
Get it?
Tips to sink that shot
1. Create something real and authentic to the space you are in or are targeting. People will connect. Guaranteed!
2. Stop listening to the gurus of entrepreneurship who aren’t running their own business. What i do, i listen, acknowledge their attempt to help, thank em. Then, i go do my own thing.
3. Listen to everyone! What?? I’m already contradicting myself 😅. Hear me out. The ability to listen and gather knowledge is very important. From my experience, most advice i’ve recieved from people are useful but their timing is way off.
See, people don’t understand where you and your business are. Their advice maybe good, but its most likely something they’ve watched or read and is been parroted to you. Keep that info in your memory archives (notes) and you’ll know when its the right time to execute.
4. Sell shiz that you don’t need. Maybe its your car, maybe its your rice cooker. Both u can do without. Best example, Steve Jobs sold his car to help buy the components for the first Apple computer.
It all boils down to how important is this to you. If its important, you’ll shoot with minimal reassurance. Maybe not the best thing to do, but you will. If its not, you’ll be one of them people who go around complaining how unfair life has been.
Will you shoot?
